N. Jeanne Tucker

N. Jeanne Tucker, 83, of Stockton, CA, passed away on September 10, 2012 in Upland, CA. Eldest child of James Franklin and Belva Welch, Jeanne was born in Aurora, MO on September 27, 1928. Their family moved to Upland, CA in 1942 where she graduated from Chaffey High School in 1945. Jeanne married Franklin William Tucker (Tommy) on March 20, 1948. Jeanne and Tommy had 3 children, Bill, Cheryl, and Gary. They raised their family in Temple City, CA and then moved to Stockton, CA in 1973. Jeanne was very involved within the within the Stockton Community including the Professional Secretaries Association, Stockton Women's Network, and Kiwanis of Stockton being the first woman President and serving 2 terms, plus other numerous volunteer activities. Jeanne is pre-deceased by her husband Tommy, her daughter Cheryl and her brother Jacky. She is survived by her brother James Welch, sisters Joanna Shephard (Cornelius) and Judy Inscore (Bob), sons Bill Tucker (Lorinda) and Gary Tucker (Bonnie), 7 grandchildren, Sara Presutto, Sam Dunbar, Matt Tucker, Layne Tucker, Kaylin Pagnan, Troy Tucker, Brenna Tucker, Dillon Tucker and 1 great grandchild Malcolm Dunbar. Visitation will be 9:30am Monday 09/17/12 with funeral services at 10:00am at Stone Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park.
