Rita Marie Zullo (née Ducharme), age 91, passed away peacefully in her home on April 14, 2026, in Rancho Cucamonga, California surrounded by her family. Born on December 5, 1934, in Amesbury, Massachusetts, Rita lived a long and fulfilling life enriched by her deep connections with family and friends.

She was the beloved daughter of the late William Edward and Aurora Ducharme. Rita was the youngest of two children with her sister (Theresa) preceding her in death. Rita was also predeceased by her devoted husband, Roland Stanley Zullo, with whom she shared fifty years of marriage. Together with Roland, she built a loving family that became the cornerstone of her life.

Rita is survived by her six devoted children: Michelle Zullo Duca (Giuseppe), Roland William Zullo (Lydia), Michael Anthony Zullo (Tracy), Paul Zullo (Sharon), Andrea Zullo (Jeff), and Gabrielle Zullo McCloskey (Kurt). Her legacy lives on through her eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild who brought immense joy to her life.

Known for her unwavering dedication to maintaining lifelong friendships, Rita had a remarkable ability to stay connected with those she cared about through regular phone calls. These calls were a treasured part of her routine. Her warmth and thoughtfulness left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 27, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the James L. Brulte Senior Center, located at 11200 Baseline Road in the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
