Uncle Bob you were the best uncle. You changed my diapers as a baby, you gave a loving toast at my wedding and gave me my first job @ GD and you ALWAYS made me laugh!I know your with my mom and dad in heaven...I love you and will miss you. Aunt Joy, Suzie, Larry, Bobby and Kathy your in my thoughts and prayers and I love you.

Bob was a wonderful mentor and a true friend. Our sympathy to Joy and his wonderful family, that he loved more than anything.

Bob took me under his wing when I first joined GD in 1979.  A wonderful man, but I could have never said that to him, he would've wondered punchline was coming next.  To you, Bob, I said it. Papa, I love you so much.  Thank you for being an amazing papa.  I miss you so much, but I know you are in heaven with Jesus.  You always made me feel special and made me laugh when ever i saw you.  You have always been there when I needed you. I hope heaven is all that I hoped for.  I love you so much and you will always be in my heart forever.

My papa was not only papa, he was my hero.  He always taught me how to work hard in school and to do my best.  He always made me feel special when I saw him and would take my sister and I out to special lunches.  My sister and I always made him laugh. Bob and I were both from Hartford, Ct.. I was the Rep for GD in Ct.. Bob was great to work with and he appreciated the help he got. Especially when he needed a copy of his Birth Certificate but didn't want to come to Conn. due to an unpaid ticket. I got it for him so he could get his passport and go to Europe on business. We always laughed about that. I will miss him

Our beloved Campmaster has touched so many lives and words can't express how much he will be missed. We are all better people for knowing him and are all heart broken in missing him!

Bob Fontaine was a dear friend for 53 years.  Gary was Bob's roommate and worked at General Dynamics as an associate.  He was a wonderful family man, intelligent and highly respected. We have so many wonderful memories over all these years and we appreciated all the special moments together.  Our love to the family...he will be missed by all.

Love and prayers to the Fontaine's/LaBounty's. Our loss is Heavens gain. He taught me a lot and always made me feel a part of the family. I will miss him with all my heart
