I will always remember Steve Frazee as Supervisor for San Bernardino County Probation, Rancho Cucamonga Division.  He was always looking out for us, the employees.  Steve was a dedicated person and I enjoyed pictures of his vacation with wife and daughter, "Sarah" to other countries. I still have a coffee cup he gave at my birthday celebration he brought from England. Steve was very knowledgeable about Probation. Thank you Steve for your dedication. I'm sure you are watching us from Heaven. You'll always be remembered!

Hello, remembering years Steve and I worked together at Probation . Glad he's not in pain anymore. I think of him often 

Steve was my big brother. He was an exceptional brother in that we almost never fought as children. We played together a lot.  Some of my fondest memories are hours spent converting the giant California pepper tree in our back yard into a playhouse.  Steve decided we needed to build a fort next to it to be on the lookout for invaders so we dug a hole, reinforced it with branches and a platform so we could peak over the top.  I think those were some of his earliest building projects - along with the raft he built for the pond across the street.

Steve also taught me to run electric trains on the plywood on the lower level of his bunk bed, how to fly a kite and how to drive a stick shift car. When he was a senior in high school and I was a freshman he drove me to school, picking up one of his football buddies along the way.  He never made me feel awkward or unwanted and I surely loved pulling into the senior parking lot.

I don't ever remember a mean word from him to his little sister. He always made me feel special - even taking me out to dinner or the movies when he came home on leave from the Army just so we could have some one-on-one time and catch up.

As adults he continued to be supportive even though we lived several hours apart. Twice he drove from Southern California to Central California just to help me move from one house to another.  Probably the sweetest thing he ever did was to make it his personal mission to search southern California for a store that would have a large enough selection of wedding dresses so I could have a choice of dresses since there was not time to special order one.

Steve was always concerned about my welfare as he was for the welfare of the rest of his family, his friends, his community and his church.  That is just who he was - a man who cared deeply and translated that care into action.

Steve and I grew up in Escondido, CA and attended 4H meetings to share our love of animals and agriculture. I met his sister Kathy there and Steve always had my best interests in our relationship.  Steve and I worked many hours in his fathers landscape business planting plants and lawns and spreading tons and tons of gravel.  We spent many happy hours working on his Ford Model A cars and my Nash. I regret that we were not able to complete his most recent project, a 1969 Mustang. Steve was so proud of the Victorian home he built for his family in Upland.  There is no way to fill the void he leaves in my life.
