Patsy Jean Foster

Patsy Jean Todd Foster, 70, of Morganton, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 13, 2011, while at Grace Hospital. Born December 20, 1940, in Dillon County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Ed Todd and Dessie Prince Todd. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cristy Evans and a granddaughter, Melinda Ivey. Ms. Foster was a member of the Souls Harvest Ministries, Valdese. She will be remembered as a great Humanitarian and for her wonderful sense of humor.

She is survived by three sons, Paul Foster, Jr. & wife Georgetta, of Morganton, Ronald Foster & wife Minnie, of Dover, OH and Todd Paul Foster, of Bullhead City, Arizona;

A brother, Danny Todd, of Newbern, NC;

A sister, Linda Young, of Morganton;

Twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive Ms. Foster.

The family would like to give special thanks to nurses of Home Health, Kelly Helton, Becky Fullimwider and Ramona Smith for their loving and compassionate care of Ms. Foster, as well as the 5th Floor Nursing Staff at Grace Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 16, 2011, at the Souls Harvest Ministries, Valdese, with the Reverend Chris Williamson and Bishop John Smiley officiating. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery, Morganton. The family will receive friends 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Friday, July 15, 2011, at Valdese Family Funeral Care, Valdese.
