She was my 1st grade teacher at tate elementary, its been 9 years but she will always be my favorite and have a place in my heart💗

We just found out about this tremendous loss and are so very saddened. She was in our Sunday school class when she was in high school and we all loved her. We’ll keep all of you in our prayers .

She was a wonderful teacher that will be greatly missed. She left a huge print on our child's heart that will forever be remembered. We are sorry to hear of this loss of such a beautiful soul, she will be greatly missed. 

Amy is one of the most amazing people that I have ever had the privilege to know. She was so kind. Always. She had such a gentle spirit and always had a smile on her face. Anyone that knew her knew that she was a special person. She had such a beautiful heart. She was a light. I know that she is with the Lord now and has been fully restored. I know her spirit and kindness will live on through her precious boys. Michael, God bless you and those sweet boys. May he wrap you tightly in his arms through this hard time. Jerry, Glenda, Michael when Jamie died Jerry, You and Amy came to Texarkana to be with and support Beth and myself . Jerry, you were the rock that Beth leaned on and sweet Amy was what kept me sane and holding it together. It wasn’t anything particular that she said, it was the way she said things. I’ve never told anyone this. The way she smiled and held my arm and looked at me, you could actually physically feel the love she had for people and that quality totally calmed me down and got me through that terrible ordeal. After all that I  thanked God for her every day.  I know we didn’t see her very often but we  thought of her every day and will miss her. We love you all, JERRY, GLENDA, HAILEY,  and MICHAEL. We are so very sorry for your loss and are praying for peace of mind for you all....

Mr. Jerry, Mrs. Glenda, Haley, I am sincerely sorry for your loss.  You are all in my prayers.  From the time I first met her, I noticed right away how sweet and kind hearted she was and we became friends quickly.  I haven't seen her in quite some years, but one memory always stays with me.  When we were in our early teenage years,  we were riding that old blue fourwheeler yall had around yalls house and we made a wet spot in the yard into a mud hole.  We both got a in a little trouble by Mr. Jerry.  She was such a fun person to be around.  

Amy and I started Greenwood the same year back in 9th grade.  She was the very next stop on the bus after my house.  We became friends and were in band together for years.  Michael, I'm sorry for your loss but she's in heaven.  Not a doubt in my mind. 


Amy was one of the funniest and sweetest hearts I came across in life. We had so much fun on our way to DC trying to prove that we could lick our elbows, unsuccessfully of course. The world lost another great heart... but hope that Michael, their boys, and family find peace and healing knowing she shed light to so many and had a lasting affect on everyone. 

May God strengthen you, may God comfort you and may God keep you during this time.  We are praying for your whole family. With our deepest sympathy to you.

I had the privilege of working a short time with Amy at King Elementary. She introduced us to JC’s Barbque.    She was a sweet, kind and a thoughtful person who touched the lives of the children who passed through her classroom.  I was heartbroken to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers to each one  in her family and those close to her.


Amy and I graduated college together. She was always kind, loving, helpful and a joy to all who knew her. She was an encouraging friend who had amazing faith and strength. She was also a talented teacher who touched many young lives. I admired her very much and am heartbroken she is gone, but I’m also certain that the ripple she created will go on and on. We love you, Amy! We know we will see you again. God bless Amy’s family and give them the supernatural peace only you can give. There are so many people praying for you that you will never even know about.

Amy had a very positive impact on my life when I most needed it and thought that should be shared. When I think of Amy and Michael for that matter I think of character. I dont think a person could ask for two better people to look to for sound advice than Michael and Amy. Their door was always open along with their hearts and minds.  Amy was such an accepting human being and I could never express enough my gratitude for the time and care she gave during some of the toughest times of my life. She never seemed to judge and you always knew her advice was sincere. I will never forget the great times that we all had together. I frequently recall the time Mike T called and said that Amy wanted to join us for some high speed snow driving. They loaded up and we went on a wild roller coaster ride through the mall parking lot laughing like kids. Thats why we all loved Ames. She was just a cool customer and one of the boys. No matter the situation she was always the calm, responsible voice that kept us in line. I feel very blessed for the friendship she provided to me,  at the time just a silly buddy of her boyfriend. She was a very special young women of charcter and principle and she will be greatly missed by many but her character and friendship along with all the memories we had will never be forgotten. We love you Ames

Amy was my front seat navigator when we took the Foundations of Early Childhood students to Tulsa and Oklahoma City from UAFS. I had to drive a university van which was nerve wracking, but Amy was great! She was calm, paid attention and could give directions smoothly. This was Amy all around. She was the most genuine, kind and hard working student. When I saw her after she started teaching she always greeted me like a long lost sister. She will be so missed by all.

I remember playing in band with Amy.  We use to have some fun at the Greenwood Football games together.  And we had a good time at school dances too.  We thought they were totally lame then but looking back now they were good times and memories we had together.  She was a very sweet person.  This world will deeply miss her presence.

I am praying for all of you. My heart just breaks. I prayed for her in the mornings on the way to work and you and the kids. Sending love and prayers.
