Billy Clyde “Cowboy” Corbell, 66, of Hartford, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015 in a local hospital. He was a retired forklift driver for Mead Containers in Fort Smith, and was also a bull rider and bullfighter.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn of the home; five stepsons, Ian Crouch of Sacramento, CA, Dustin Crouch of Arizona, Shawn Wilson of Billings, MT, Evan Wilson of Pasa Robles, CA, and Benjamin Wilson of Billings, MT; three sisters, Patsy Lindsey of Cedarville, Peggy Judah of Dallas, and Pamela McIver of Decatur, AR; four brothers, Bobby Corbell of Albuquerque, NM, Stanley Corbell of Kibler, George Corbell of Liberty, OK, and Jimmy Corbell of Lavaca, as well as, several step-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Bobby, Stanley, George, Jimmy, Brian, and Leland Corbell.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
