Bobbie Ruth Gage, 88, of Van Buren, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in Barling. She was born February 15, 1934 in Arp, TX to the late Daniel and Eula (Langford) Bateman. She was a retired school teacher with the Van Buren School District.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Gage.
She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Franklin of Tucson, AZ; a grandson, Robert Bendele of Tucson, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2023 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. Ashes will be placed at Gracelawn Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the funeral home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
