He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Burt; a sister, Kathy Owenby; and a brother, Billy Burt.
He is survived by a daughter, Sherry Reeves of Muskogee; his mother, Mavis Nigh of Van Buren; a sister, Sula Clevenger of Mountainburg; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with cremation to follow under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 26, 2024, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
