Bonnie Moore

Bonnie Moore, 84, of Barling, passed away Friday, August 7, 2015 at Sparks Hospital in Fort Smith. She was born to Thomas O. and Blanche Mullock Moore on February 7, 1931 in Parnell, MO, the youngest of eight children. She was preceded in death by sisters Nellie Engle and Bernice Blair, and brothers Harold Collins, Douglas Moore, and Joe Moore.

Bonnie was a member of Central Baptist Church in Fort Smith for 63 years, and was a member of the Good Samaritans. She loved the Lord Jesus with all of her heart. He was her joy in life and her eternal hope in the next. She is no longer walking by sight – absent from the body, present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8).

She is survived by her sisters Orva Davis of Rogers, AR and Dorothy Coleman of Piedmont, SC, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren. Pastor John Earnhart of Central Baptist Church will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be Sid Johnson, Bob Yandell, Brandon Earnhart, and Jeff Earnhart. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Good Samaritans.
