Cody Jack Franklin, 20, of the Lee Creek Community, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016 in Ozark. He was born May 26, 1995 in Springdale. He was a horse trainer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Denise Franklin; grandmother, Jo Franklin, and grandfather, Jack Terry.
He is survived by his parents, Clayton and Teresa Franklin of the home; two sisters, Casey Adkins of Cedarville, and Leslie Merryman of Van Buren; a brother, Michael Watkins of El Paso; maternal grandmother, Martha Terry of Fort Smith; paternal grandfather, Leonard Franklin and wife Sue of Van Buren; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2016 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the funeral home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
