Connie Harris, 59, of Alma, AR, lost her battle with cancer Monday, October 3, 2011 in her home. She was born November 28, 1951 in Fayetteville, AR. She was a member of Kibler Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a stepsister, Brenda McClure.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy of the home; a daughter, Tia Woodruff and her husband Travis of Kibler, AR; a son, Rocky Harris of Kibler, AR; mother and step father, Marie Gooch and her husband Jimmy Don of Kibler, AR; father, Lowell Barnes of Natural Dam, AR; two step-sisters, Donetta Smith of Fort Smith, AR and Angela Rhodes of Hackett, AR; a brother, Butch Barnes of Mountainburg, AR; a stepbrother, Jimmy Gooch , Jr. of Kibler, AR; four grandchildren, Stoney Woodruff, Dalton Woodruff, Gunner Harris, and Tristan Harris.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Kibler Baptist Church with burial at Gill Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
