

Dale LeRoy Ferguson, 68, of Altus, passed away Monday, October 27, 2014 at his home. He was born August 21, 1946 in Cushing, OK to the late Clifford and Treva Ferguson. He worked for MidSouth, and served in U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Mickie Ferguson of the home; two daughters, Tischell Flowers of Alma, and Tracie Mobley of Bentonville; two stepdaughters, Deanna Pickartz of Ozark, and Ashley Carnathan of Fort Smith; two sons, Theron Ferguson, and Trenton Ferguson both of Booneville; two stepsons, Roy Day of Ozark, and Daniel Hewett of Van Buren; two sisters; twenty-seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Roy Day, Justin Murders, John Pickartz, Robbie Harris, Jason Carnathan, and Kevin Mobley. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Hamm, Jeff Gonzagowski, Keith Stratton, and Mike Hannah.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
