In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Alene Uler and Delorse Allen; and two brothers, Jimmy and John “Frankie” Batey.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Maples, Sr. of the home; a daughter, Regina Fernandez of Van Buren; three sons, Johnny Vaughn of Van Buren, Danny Maples, Jr. of Cedarville, and Henry Maples of Fort Smith; two sisters, June Batey of Roland, and Tina Shelby of Fort Smith; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 12:30 p.m. Monday, May 8, 2023 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Zane Lopez, Teddy Sigel, Jody Allen, and David Young.
