Eddie Bankston, 81, of Yukon, OK, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at his home. He was born June 5, 1943 in Van Buren to the late Russell and Ada May (Carter) Bankston. He served his country in the U.S. Army, and was retired from OG&E.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Odessa Carter; a sister, Dixie Jo Shumaker; and two brothers, Danny and Paul Futral.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Bankston of the home; a son, Don Bankston and wife Rachel of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Bill, Tommy, and Steve Futral, all of Texas; three grandchildren, Carter, Audrey, and Garrett Bankston; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
