Frank Edward Newton, Sr., 84, of Van Buren, Arkansas, died, Monday, August 23, 2010 in a local nursing home. He was born July 31, 1926 in Kibler, Arkansas. He was a retired owner and operator for Quality Tires in Van Buren, Arkansas and he attended Butterfield Assembly of God Church in Van Buren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Newton. He is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Parker of Van Buren, AR and Tammy Wilson of Van Buren, AR; one son, Frank “Eddie” Newton Jr of Kibler, AR; four grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Butterfield Assembly of God Church in Van Buren. Mr. Newton will be cremated under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
