Gladys Mae Moore, 86, of Van Buren, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 in Fort Smith. She was born October 7, 1931 in the Locke Community, to the late Earnest and Violet Moore. She was a seamstress. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth A. Strickland.
She is survived by four daughters, Linda Darlene Horton of Virginia, Diana Lynn Latino of Rogers, Debora Smith of Little Rock, and Donna I. Pruett of Ronda, NC; three sons, Roy Horton of Anderson, MO, Rocky D. Horton of Long Beach, CA, and Jason W. Strickland of Newport, AR; a sister, Ruth Moore of Fort Smith; three brothers, James Moore and Ivan Moore, both of Van Buren, and Millard Moore of Little Rock; and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 23, 2017 at Locke Cemetery in the Locke Community, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
