Jackie L. Harris, 84, of Roland, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025 at her home. She was born October 17, 1940 in Alma to the late Jack and Mattie (Johnson) Brown. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She has gone to be with Jesus, and reunited with her husband who was the love of her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Harris; and a sister, Pat Hatley.
She is survived by a daughter, Amber Stanart of Roland; a son, Raoul Harris of Mulberry; a sister, Linda Gabbard of Mountainburg; four grandchildren, Mariah Womack, Miranda Casey, Jessie Stanart, and James Stanart, and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2025 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
