Janice “Jan” Douglas, 75, of Fort Smith, passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 in Fort Smith. She was born December 3, 1938 to the late William and Kitty Fry. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Douglas.
She is survived by two daughters, Dianna Whittington and husband Mike of Fort Smith, and Jamie Jacobs and husband Mark of Little Rock; a sister, Carolyn Bear of Rose Hill, KS; and three grandchildren, Caitlin Jacobs of Little Rock, and Bailey and Stratton Whittington of Fort Smith.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
