

Jesse E. Clenney (Biggins), 34, of Fort Smith, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025 in Fort Smith. He was born November 20, 1990 in Arkadelphia. Jesse was named after Jesse in the Bible (father of David). Jesse means God's gift. As young as the age of 2, Jesse enjoyed praying for others and singing in church. He preached a sermon at 7 years old. As a boy he enjoyed dressing up as the Sheriff of Uniontown and took his job seriously! Jesse was very creative and above his years in conversation. As an adult Jesse enjoyed going to the gym. He was a jewelry salesman for more than 10 years. He held a special place in his heart for his niece, Addy. He also had a goofy side and enjoyed making people laugh. He served 6 years in the Air National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Nancy Kitchens, and Pete and Elva Clenney.
He is survived by his mother, DeAnn Rogers (Kitchens) of Fort Smith; his father, Don Clenney of Gore, OK; a sister, Kristen Hart and husband Dalton of Van Buren; and a niece Adalynn Hart.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren, AR. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
