

Kathy Malinda Tedford, 67, of Alma, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025 in Fort Smith. She was born September 8, 1957 in Canyon, Texas to the late Wade and Frankie (Franklin) Clement. She retired from BSA Health System in Amarillo, TX, and had been a prison guard in Childress, TX. She loved fishing, camping, music, and laughing with family and friends. She was a protector of those she loved, and was a kind soul but not afraid to speak the truth.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Warren Clement and Christopher Clement.
She is survived by her partner, Daisy Collins of Alma; two brothers, Ronald Tedford and wife Connie of Amarillo, and Walter Clements and wife Korleen of Live Oak, FL; her beloved cousin Carol Gann of Sandpoint, ID; her in-laws, Paul and Doris Collins of Alma; nephews, Tyler Tedford of Amarillo, Gage Clement of Fayetteville, Seth Collins of Fort Smith, and Ben Collins of Oklahoma City; nieces, Riley (Collins) Roberson and husband Logan of Fayetteville, Cassia Allen of Alma, Lydia (Collins) Shea and husband Kaleb of Oklahoma City, Jael Collins of Oklahoma City, and June Collins of Alma; brothers-in-law, Paul Collins and wife Chrissy of Oklahoma City, Bill Collins and wife Tabatha of Huntsville, AL, and Thomas Collins and wife Lori of Alma; many other nieces and family, and countless friends that loved her.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
