I still miss you every day.  Now I miss Nana too; but I’m happy that you two are together. 
You were my guardian angels in life, so it is my hope you are still guarding me- both of you.

I visited my aunt Shirley, Uncle Len and cousins during my early high school years In 1976.. Len, a high school Seinor, took me under his wing and showed his little northern cousin (me) all the fun things southerners do, like putting peanuts in a glass bottle of coke or pop as he called it. He taught me the game of spoons, a card game I shared with my sons as they grew up.
I remember Lenny as a gracious and giving person and his laugh was contagious. 
He will be missed,

I have know Len's mom, Shirley, most of my life as we went to school together and graduated from WHS  in 1954.  Also, have known his dad since just before he met and married Shirley.  When we both were living in San Antonio, TX, we often spent time together and our children often went swimming in their backyard pool.  Those were really nice years.  Have not seen Len and Shirley since our 50'th WHS grad reunion, but we often communicate via e-mail.
Len and Shirley, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your oldest son, Lenny, as I knew him as a young boy.  My deepest sympathy to the two of you and to Len's, wife, children, and all of his family.

I know he will be dearly missed my dad used to do a lot of work for him and he would come by the house and talk politics with my dad my dad is gone but I know he will be dearly missed we all love him   the  Robert lane  family

Although my time knowing him was brief, it was memorable. The first one I met him I was going on a road trip with Nathan and he was on FaceTime and when we saw each other he made me laugh with his jokes and blush with his kindness. Anytime him and Nathan were with each other, I always either talk to him on the phone or we FaceTime each other to check on me and made sure I was ok. I went to Arkansas in November and finally met him face to face and he was open and loving and treated me like family the last thing he said was you need to come back and visit and now It breaks my heart that I won’t have that opportunity to do that the next time I visit. I will miss him dearly

He always loved to scare and intimidate my friends and potential dates. If they passed the Uncle Lenny test then it was a miracle. But after they shook hands and he asked David about his church habits, we drew a sigh of relief. 
I loved him singing on my phone when I couldn’t be there that Christmas and Mary just singing along in her beautiful voice. :) That is how he is and she is too. It was a wonderful and warm memory.

When I first met the entire family, he came up to me, shook my hand and instantly I liked him.  I have never met anyone so fun and joyous to be around, we will all miss him terribly.
He and my mother sang over the phone during one Christmas, made us all smile.

Len was one of my best friends, I plumbed for him for over 30 years . This has been so hard on me. I will miss him so much. He taught me a few clown tricks,  We would go eat together,  Me, Monty and Len,  Lisa I have never met you, But this I know, You put a spark in Len, He would light up when you called. When he always called or when I drove on to a job he would say so loud  " HEY HARTMAN "  I will miss that. My heart is Broken, 

Oh how I will miss this Big Guy..a dear friend..he lived to love and laugh and make others  laugh..
We all know where he is and we'll see him again...Love you...RIP

Len you had a personality bigger than life. You were always so friendly and welcoming, such an outgoing personality. You made everyone around you feel at ease.  I’ll never forget all of the fun times we all had camping and our Butterfield RV ministry. You probably don’t know it but you made a big impact in  so many young lives at our RV ministries. The kids always looked forward to Sunday morning services with the clowns. You will be missed by many. RIP

I knew him as Len Fort we were neighbors on Broken Hill in Van Buren.  He could always make you laugh, he was funny  Len always had a smile on his face.  You never had to ask him "Len are you a Christian " he lived it every day.  He would pray with you if you needed it.  He would ask how you kids were doing and what they were up do.  He always would say "Hey its good to see ya".  I guess God needed him more than we did and so he called him Home.  Len i know personally that you touched a lot of lives especially at BANK OZK.  We are saddened by your leaving but we know that you are in the arms of a Wonderful Loving God. Hey Len it was good to see you too.

We were cousins first, then we were brothers. We ate together, went to school together, set pins together (Pat reminded me of that one,) fought with one another, then apologized and jumped on the mini-bikes to go exploring Bulverde. I wish I could remember all the events of those days so long ago. I look forward to the days ahead with Jesus when we can laugh again at all the stuff we did...and didn’t do. Until we meet again.

I am so sorry for your loss and the loss to all clowns who know Len. When we went to our first Show Me Clowns for Jesus we did not know what we were doing or how to start a clown ministry. Len was the first person we met and he got us off in the right direction. After that when we went to Show Me Clowns for Jesus we always looked for Len and loved his class when he taught. He treated everyone as a friend. We will miss him. 😥

You taught us all during the holidays what it really was to laugh! Those were the best times! Seeing you happy was a rewarding experience. I take solace in that. You were kind, caring, silly, goofy, fun, and I had to add this picture.

The biggest clown I’ve ever known!! And, loved to share Jesus in the funniest ways.  Loved  going camping with Him w/ the Butterfield gang of guys. You, Len will be missed for sure.  Will be clowning around up in heaven together one if these days.  

I shed tears as I look at your picture. I’m remembering when we were 12, when grandmom Fort and I came down to visit when you were living in San Antonio. We were  climbing trees, chasing jack rabbits. We went down to the local bowling alley to “work”, setting up the pins, send the ball back, and duck when the next bowlers ball struck the pins.. and repeat the whole process again and again, all for free sodas and a fun experience.  See you again, one day soon cuz, in heaven.. I cannot find the picture of us standing together, we were born the same day.. you were hours older!! , we could pass for twins!!

We have known Len for several years.  He has worked for us and been a friend. We will miss him greatly and the way he loved to say my name. 😍. Gods blessing for the family.  

I remember  when I first met Mr. Fort, he was at the house on the  corner from me.  He could not believe what happened to it! They had destroyed it. And let me tell you it was a mess but we offered to clean it out and paint it and we did.  It took a while he even gave me a little shock of electricity  once from then on I  watch him around the electric  after that but he has me to keep a eye on it  and  do a few things for him to the house I don't mind it's ok I  know what needs to be done and what he wants me to do. But  now I don't know what I will do now that he is gone Mrs. Lisa  I will be praying for you and the 
family  and I will see you Thursday afternoon  ok I am so sorry he will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss Lisa, Nathan, and family.   Len was such a big personality and enjoyed people.   He was a joy to be around and I will miss those big waves and hugs.  

First of all I can't imagine how your family feels but my heart has stopped too. I am so glad we got to talk the other day on the phone. You were always my biggest cheerleader and fan as I was yours. You love to embarrass me like nobody's business. I probably haven't cried this much since my Dad's death. I was so happy to see you so happy and Lisa loved you so deeply. You both were just having so much fun and loving people and life. "Chuckles" the clown touched my heart in so many ways. So many memories with you. What I wouldn't give to hear one more time "love you long time Sugarbritches." just to get a rise out of me. I love you Len Fort and heaven just caught them a big one with you coming in. I can see you having coffee with my Dad and yall telling your stories. See you soon Len! I will pray for your family daily as they face each new day here without you. Miss you! Your poor little grandbabies will miss their Papaw. Lisa will miss how you made her feel loved and made her laugh. Your parents will miss how well you helped them. Your kids will feel so empty without you by their side but we will lift them all up in prayer as days go by. Love you long time my friend! 

The last hug he gave me was a “one wing butterfly”. I’ll never forget those or how he said he “loved his nieces to pieces”, I’ll never forget any of his kindness to me from when I was a kid until now. 
He was kind to my husband too. He accepted him right off bc he saw David made me happy. 
I miss you so much, Uncle Lenny!!! Thank you for always making me the Super Kid.
