Linda L. Davis

Linda Davis, 79, of Alma, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 in Greenwood. She was born June 29, 1941 in Corona, CA to Howard and Lucille Nabors. She was retired from Arkansas-Oklahoma Gas and a member of Concord Baptist Church in Van Buren. She volunteered at Alma Intermediate School, and she and her husband were longtime foster parents. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald.

She is survived by a daughter, Linn Smith and husband Johnnie of Alma; two sons, Brian Davis and wife Jennie of Conway, and Steve Davis of Greenwood; seven grandchildren, Ethan and Emma Davis of Austin, TX, Lindsey Davis of Burleson, TX, Logan Davis of Greenwood, Amber Ridenour of Alma, Amy Smith of Fort Smith, and Andy Smith of Alma; eight great-grandchildren; and hundreds of foster children.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with cremation to follow, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. Ashes will be buried at New Cemetery in Mulberry.

Viewing and visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
