Linda Kay Nordin

Linda Kay Nordin, 76, of Alma, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025 at her home. She was born October 19, 1948 in Kibler to the late Edward and Marie (Beckham) Hobson. She had worked for Hiram Walker, and loved fishing, camping, and motorcycles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy King; and a brother, Billy Ed Hobson.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Allen Nordin of the home; a son, Glenn “Allen” Nordin of Alma; a brother, Roger Hobson and wife Connie of Sunnyside; a granddaughter, Brittany Rhodes (Jesse) of Hartshorne, OK; and two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Easton Rhodes.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Dyer Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Michael Hobson, Zachary Hobson, Otis Hobson, Jimmy Williams, Mark King, and Paul King. Honorary pallbearers are Jesse Rhodes, Hunter Rhodes, and Easton Rhodes.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
