In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Morton; a sister, Ethel Henson; and a brother, David Cook.
She is survived by a daughter, Carla Morton of Fort Smith; a son, Ron Morton of Fort Smith; and a brother, George Cook of Van Buren.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Spradling Baptist Church in Fort Smith with interment to follow at Salem Cemetery in Cedarville, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Jan Colbett, Ty Lowry, Max Stewart, Ruben Miller, Mike Cook, and Robert Neal. Honorary pallbearers are Harold Johns, Leslie Neal, and Huell Nutt.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2023, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
