Marilyn King, 79, of Van Buren, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at her home. She was born September 8, 1941 in Weaubleau, MO to Cecil and Anna Belle Clemmons. She was a homemaker and attended The Current Church. She loved her family, neighbors, gardening, and being outdoors. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Lee “Ed” King.
She is survived by two sons, David King and wife Connie, and Stephen King and wife Lethia, all of Van Buren; a brother, Rodney Clemmons and wife Theresa of Houston; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel followed by a private family committal at Coil Cemetery near Winslow, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Daniel King, Heath King, Jeff Cazzell, Jaxon Cazzell, Adam Sosa, Truett Cazzell, Bart Clemmons, and Brad Autry.
Viewing will be 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 2, 2021, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren with the family being present from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
