Shirley Cox, 85, of Van Buren, AR, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at a local nursing home. She was born December 21, 1925 in Minnesota. She was a retired office manager at a doctor’s office. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Cox and her parents, Merle and Pansy Churchward.
She is survived by a son, Steve Cox of Van Buren, AR; a sister, Zelda Smith of Minnesota; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren
She was cremated under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home and her ashes will be scattered at sea.
