

Trixie Chadwick, 93, of Van Buren, Arkansas, died Saturday, November 13, 2010 in a local hospital. She was born June 14, 1917. A lifelong resident of Crawford County, she was a member of Oliver Springs Freewill Baptist Church and Sunday School secretary for the church for 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Chadwick. She is survived by three sons, Dennis Chadwick and wife, Lydia of Vian, Oklahoma, Dana Chadwick and wife Lynn of Helena, Arkansas, and Duane Chadwick and wife, JoAnn of Van Buren; two sisters, Wanda Arnold, and Geneva Stewart, both of Rudy, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel, with burial at Mount McCurry Cemetery near Rudy, Arkansas under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Stanley Beckham, Butch Capp, Tony Harris, John Hamilton, Jimmy House, and Mark Hobbs. Honorary pallbearers will be the Ladies and Men’s Adult Sunday School class at Oliver Springs Freewill Baptist Church. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday, November 15, 2010 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR.
