Mom was always the one person that gave you the best sound advice. I am who I am today because of her. She’s our angel now protecting Bryan her youngest son and I.  Also her laugh and good sense of being lit up a room. Oh how I’ll miss her laugh. Heaven is having a celebration with your presence there. Thank you Heavenly Father for allowing her to be with me the years she was. Till we meet again mom. For now I know you have never left me and never will. 

Blanca Sonia Avelar was born in El Salvador on May 17, 1957. She is daughter of Rodrigo and María Concepción Avelar. Blanca who was referred by her middle name, Sonia, always knew how to make a crowd laugh. She was filled with the utmost joy, passion, strength and a mind that held a memory that was unforgettable. She was loved by her family and friends and wherever she went, she always knew how to make a friend or two. Sonia had a heart of platinum, and she would not hesitate to help others in need. On 9/29/18 Sonia went to rest with The Lord and to reunite with her father, mother, brothers and niece. Sonia is survived by her precious children Michelle and Bryan. She will forever be in our hearts as we will remember her funny sense of humor and her sweet-gentle touch♥️
