Ernesto A. Gabriel

Ernesto Gabriel was born on February 29th, 1954 to Maria Dolores and Angel Gabriel, in Guatemala City. At the age of 25 he came to the United States to be with his mother. His adventurous side got him to the states, his friend said let’s go and there was no hesitation.

He reconciled with Lord Jesus in 1979 at Faro De Luz church. He served the church from then on and never looked back. He was a faithful servant.

Ernesto met his wife Blanca at church in youth group. They met in 1980 and married in 1983. They grew their family Wendy in 1984, Andrea in 1986 and Ernesto in 1991. Ernesto and Blanca were married for 40 years.

Ernesto was a go getter and lived out the American dream he purchased his home in 1998 and opened his own business in 2000 Ernesto G Wood-finishes. If you know him, he had a passion for wood work, his experience and craftsmanship spoke for itself.

Ernesto’s happy place was his family, he loved being surrounded by his kids and their families. He wanted all of us around and had the biggest gleaming smile around his loved ones.

Ernesto was a man of God and anytime he could share the gospel he would talk about Jesus to you. He was a faithful servant until the the very end. Even in his bed he was praising and worshiping God. He served and preached the word of God. He laid a sound foundation of faith in each one of his kids. There is no better reward or gift he could have left us and for that we are blessed.

We were honored and blessed to have him as our father, he was an honorable husband, son, brother, grandfather and friend.

He is dearly missed but we know he is at peace, where there is no more pain or suffering.
