唐边防 Bian Fang Tang

我们怀着万分悲痛的心情告知：我们家最亲爱的父亲、爷爷、爱人——家父唐边防，于2025年9月18日在温哥华东区晨跑途中，不幸遭遇严重车祸，后经全力抢救无效于医院离世，享年67岁。

1958年出生于中国广州，一生正直勤恳、乐观坚强，是我们心中永远的榜样。自1984年起，他投身公安交警工作，兢兢业业，严于律己，关爱同事与百姓。凭借出色的职业操守与能力，以及三十多年如一日的辛勤工作，他于2018年晋升为二级警督，后来在警察岗位上光荣退休。他的职业生涯不仅体现了对国家社会的责任，也展现了一名人民警察的担当与荣耀。

一生热爱生活，活力四射，无论户外徒步、运动锻炼，还是居家娱乐，他都乐在其中，积极向上。他体魄强健、精神矍铄，是家人眼中的中流砥柱。2023年，他迎来了生命中最出彩的一段喜悦——孙女 唐宇馨的诞生，让他成为了一位满怀慈爱与骄傲的爷爷。

今年6月，他终于如愿与家人团聚，在温哥华度过了人生中无比珍贵的三个月时光。然而，命运残酷，这段团圆太过短暂，我们尚未说够一句“好好相聚”，却已不得不面对永别的痛楚。

慈父的离世，是我们家庭无法言喻的巨大损失。他的音容笑貌、坚毅身影，将永远留在我们心中。他不仅是一位好父亲，好兄弟，好爷爷，更是朋友心中温暖可亲的挚友，是同事眼中值得敬重的楷模。

我们将于2025年10月9日（星期四）上午10点，在位于加拿大温哥华 306 E 11th Ave, Vancouver 的Mount Pleasant Universal Funeral Home 举行追思送别仪式。届时，我们将一同缅怀他温暖的一生，纪念他留给我们的无尽爱与力量。

生命虽短，爱永不息。先父虽已离我们而去，但他乐观、坚强、正直，勇于挑战自我的精神，将陪伴我们走过今后的每一步。他永远活在我们心中，永不被遗忘。

In Loving Memory of Bianfang Tang (1958 – 2025)

With deepest sorrow and unimaginable grief, we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Bianfang Tang, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who lost his life on September 18, 2025, in a devastating car accident while out for his morning run in East Vancouver. He was 67.

Born in 1958 in Guangzhou, China, Bianfang lived a life of integrity, energy, and service. In 1984, he began a long and distinguished career as a police officer, where he was admired for his unwavering dedication, discipline, and compassion. His commitment to justice and community earned him the rank of Police Supervisor (Second Class) in 2018, a testament to his outstanding work ethic and leadership. After decades of service, he retired with honor—but never stopped moving forward with purpose and joy.

Bianfang was known for his boundless energy, zest for life, and generous heart. He embodied strength—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Whether hiking through nature, playing sports, or simply sharing a warm laugh, he was always fully present. He approached each day with positivity and gratitude, enriching the lives of everyone around him.

In 2023, he became a proud grandfather with the birth of Valeria Yuxin Tang, a joy that lit up his world. And in June 2025, after years apart, he was finally reunited with his family in Vancouver. Though his time with them was far too brief, those three precious months were filled with laughter, connection, and unforgettable memories. They will remain cherished forever.

Bianfang’s passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family, friends, and former colleagues. He is mourned deeply and missed dearly by all who had the privilege to know him. Yet even in this time of sorrow, we choose to honor his legacy—not only in our tears, but in how we live. We carry forward his optimism, his courage, and his unwavering love.

A celebration of Bianfang Tang’s life will be held on October 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Mount Pleasant Universal Funeral Home, located at 306 E 11th Ave, Vancouver, BC. All who knew and loved him are welcome to join us in remembering a life so beautifully lived and a soul so deeply loved.

Though his journey was cut short, his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us. He will be remembered—always.
