He was born in Edmonton AB September 15th 1940 and eventually made his way out to BC where he called Vancouver home.
Allan was married to Elsie (Repetowski) and they had one son James Allan Knowles.
He is predeceased by his Brother Dempsey Knowles, Sister Ruth (Knowles) Fraser, former Wife Elsie (Repetowski) Knowles and Son James Allan Knowles.
Allan lived a simple life and was liked by many, making some dear friends along the way, the closest of which were his neighbours Liz, Phil, Richard, Raj and Gregg.
He is survived by his Grandchildren Kristal Noel Yardley and Levi Delahunt,
Allan is also lovingly remembered by many who called him Grandpa including Carmen, Jose, Shivangi Jain and the Chevron crew.
