It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of a remarkable man Benny San Miguel who left this world peacefully, surrounded by the people who meant the most to him—his beloved family.

He was a proud and loving father to three children; Daughters Leilani and Darlene, Son Eric (Stephanie). Benny will live on in the hearts of his grandchildren Martin (Emma), Kamika (Christian), Kayasha, Sienna, Makena (Nick), Cristian, Matthew and his great grandchildren Jakub and Georgia.

His love for his family knew no bounds, and nothing brought him greater joy than watching his family grow.

Known for his generous spirit, he had an extraordinary passion for helping others. Whether offering advice, lending a hand, or simply being there when someone needed him, he gave freely of himself and made a lasting difference in countless lives. His compassion extended into his work at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel, where he cared for grieving families with kindness, dignity, and respect. He approached every family with empathy and understanding, offering comfort during some of life's most difficult moments.

He will be fondly remembered for his impeccable sense of style, always dressed to impress, his youthful appearance, and the radiant smile that could brighten any room. His quick wit and delightfully offside jokes kept family and friends laughing, while his vast knowledge of music meant there was always a song, story, or artist to discuss. He had a rare gift for making every person he met feel seen, valued, and genuinely loved.

He also found great joy in life's simple pleasures—especially spending time with those he loved and enthusiastically galivanting from shop to shop, always on the hunt for the next great find. Those shopping adventures were never just about buying something; they were about sharing laughter, creating memories, and enjoying every moment together.

Though his absence leaves an immeasurable void, his kindness, laughter, generosity, and unwavering love will continue to live on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, family, colleague and friends.
