A beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Mrs. Tam leaves behind a lifetime of treasured memories and quiet joys.
She found happiness in the simple pleasures of everyday life. She loved strolling through shopping malls, taking her time to browse and enjoy the rhythm of the day. At home, she was an avid fan of Hong Kong TVB dramas, especially the classic series from the 1980s and 1990s, which brought her comfort, nostalgia, and countless hours of enjoyment.
She had a fondness for travel and adventure, always enjoying the excitement of new places and, occasionally, the familiar thrill of the good old slot machines. Food and companionship were among her greatest delights—afternoon tea, dim sum shared with loved ones, and her cherished morning coffee at McDonald’s or Tim Hortons were rituals that brought her joy.
Above all else, she deeply loved her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them, whether through conversation, laughter, or simply being together. Her warmth, presence, and quiet strength will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Tam is lovingly remembered by her husband Wing Kwan Tam, her sons Jason and his wife Yi Shu Shieh, Tyson and his wife Moke Akiyama, her grandchildren Nicolas, Marcus Charmael and Haniel. She will also live on in the heart of her brother George Lam as well as other family members and friends.
A Tribute From Her Sons: Mom, thank you for the love, strength, and warmth you gave us throughout our lives. You stood by us through every high and every hardship, offering unconditional love even in the toughest moments. You supported us in ways big and small — especially by caring for our children when we were busy at work. You became an extension of love and stability for them, giving them the same comfort and protection you once gave us. Your kindness, your resilience, and your steady presence carried our family more times than we can ever express. We will carry your values in everything we do, and we will honour you by living the way you taught us — with compassion, courage, and love. You will always be in our hearts, and we will miss you beyond words.
