I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Bruce lived around the corner from me on Cordova when we were growing up. Used to hang out at powell grounds with many of the local kids. Bruce and his immediate family were all "very nice" to me. Used to run into Bruce at Andrea's and Deneice's soccer games. Take care and cherish your memories of Bruce.

It was a sad day when we heard about Bruce. Susan and family, we are deeply sorry for your loss. We attended Bruce's Celebration of Life and it was easy to see that Bruce's life entered the lives of many people in a great way. He will always be remembered.

Bruce, we are going to miss you. You always brought a smile with you to work. Your diligence to the task and devotion to those you worked with was legendary. Many nights you were the last to leave, spending long hours at work, but you always took time for the family. Your kids and your grand kids were always in the office with you, with special family photos rolling past on the screen saver. One of your passions was to see the gang get together, whether at work or with clsoe friends. You were always there with a smile and a laugh and everyone around felt better because you broke the ice. It was with sadness to read of Bruce's passing.  We grew up in the same neighbourhood--he at 400 block E.Cordova and we at 300 Block.  Ever since he was little  Bruce always had an infectious smile and friendly demeanor.  Through the years whenever we bumped into each other, we would have warm recollections of our childhood friends from Strathcona and how he's kept in touch with them all these years. I remember Bruce from Miss Barber's Gr.1 class at Strathcona. He was the neatest guy. Literally and generally! His work was so tidy even then and I wasn't surprised to learn he became a draughtsman.
