Cadence Shi Yao TONG

3 September, 20025 April, 2021

Cadence Shi Yao Tong was born on September 3, 2002, and returned to the Lord on April 5, 2021. A cherished daughter, sister, and friend, she lived a life full of sacrifice for others and brought smiles and laughter to those who met her. My beloved Cadence,

Words fail to describe how much I miss you. My heart aches and my tears flow whenever images of your smiling face come. I wish I could give you more hugs and to tell you one more time that I love you.
Dear Cadence, thank you for being my second daughter these eighteen years. Seeing you grow into such beautiful, funny, talented and caring young woman has always made me feel so proud.
Rest now, dear one, in Jesus’s sweet embrace! I will treasure all our memories together until I see you again in Heaven!

Love you always,
Your big Godmother Monica.

My cousin, my friend, my sister. It aches my heart to know that you’re no longer with us. Thank you for sharing your journey through life with me. Though beautiful, it was undoubtably too short. I will forever treasure the memories we made, and I will forever hold you in my heart. I crumble at the thought of not being able to share my graduation, future birthdays, family dinners and future joyous experiences with you. If only we had more time...

As the winds blow you away, as God welcomes you with His open arms, I’m reassured in knowing that all your pain and struggles have been shed. I long to reunite with you some day up there, to see you smile, to hear you laugh. For now, I will hold onto our captured moments and those who you loved the most.

And as the current brings my letter to you, as our Father in heaven holds you now, let me hold you up for your final day with the sun.

I love and miss you dearly.

Dear Clement and family

I am saddened by the news of Cadence's passing away. May the Lord of hope give you peace and comfort you for He understands what you are going through and he is griefing with you. May you be strengthened by the power of the indwelling Spirit by turning your eyes to Jesus. I trust that Cadence would like to speak to you moment "Mom and dad, thank you for bringing me up with your enduring love in the past years and especially for leading me to receive the very best gift-the
good news of Jesus Christ so I can now rest in His peace. I am now enjoying the most beautiful scenery that I have never seen before, listening to the wonderful music that I have never heard before. So, don't be saddened by what happened to me. Though we are now separated but it is only temporary. We shall be reunited one day in heaven. So be strong and courageous. Continue with the good work in the Lord. Take care of yourselves. I will see you."

God bless !
