The family of Caleb Robert James Obey born July 12, 1997 from Piapot First Nation, SK is saddened to announce his sudden passing on December 14, 2022 in Vancouver, BC at the early age of 25 years. Wake will be held on January 11, 2023 at 3pm at the Squamish Shaker Church in North Vancouver and services to follow January 12, 2022.
Caleb was predeceased by maternal grandmother Trudy Cyr Aunty Jenean Joyea
He was survived by; Mother Jolie Obey, Father, Antonino Moroni & Darrell Thorne, siblings Joshua Starr, Jesse Obey, Daysun Thorne (Siobhan) Dylan Obey and Sehara Joyea Prettysheild (Therron) & Twins Mia-Rue James Joyea and Jahseh James Joyea Paternal Grandparents; Pamela Moroni & Oscar Tapia Maternal grandfather Robert Obey
Including all his favorite numerous aunties, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Caleb not only had an infectious smile and magnetic charisma he was also an inspiring entrepreneur, he was funny, kind and finding his way back to his traditional roots. He will be greatly missed by all.
