Carmen Adèle Marie Cayer, of Vancouver B.C., passed away peacefully after a brief illness, with her loving children Audrey and Nathan at her side. Born on December 1st 1958, she spent her childhood years in the neighbourhood of Maillardville in Coquitlam, and north of Williams Lake in the B.C interior. Before long she moved farther north, living and working in Houston and Smithers B.C. as an Executive Assistant, a career she continued upon moving to Vancouver in 2007. Carmen enjoyed the finer things in life including traveling, good food, and a lunchtime cocktail. This included multiple trips to Mexico and Europe. She had a keen work ethic, was fiercely independent and wonderfully outspoken, and raised her two children to become superb adults. Carmen was much admired and loved. Besides her children, Carmen is survived by her three siblings, Claudette, Larry and Corinne.
On Carmen’s request, there will be no service.
