

張門鄭氏千金太夫人於一九三一年九月八日在廣東省恩平市君堂鎮大灣水村出生,自小在鄉間讀書至獨醒中學,一九五一年四月和君堂藜塘大安村張偉文結婚育有三子,長子和二子分別於廣州市和香港出生,一九七二年攜兒子移民委內瑞拉與丈夫團叙,在委內瑞拉再添一子,一九九六年移民加國安享晚年。鄭千金女士對人和善,樂於助人,持家知慳識儉,尊敬長輩,三年前不幸染上腦退化症,不良於行需要以輪椅代步,二零一八年二月十八日因心藏病於溫哥華中央醫院安祥辭世,享年八十有九。
Cheng Chin Kam was born on September 8, 1931, in Dawan Shui Village, Juntang Town, Enping City, Guangdong Province. She attended School in Duxing Middle.
In April 1951, she married Chang Wai Man and gave birth to two children in 1953 and 1955. The eldest son and the second son were born in Guangzhou, China, and Hong Kong respectively.
Cheng Chin Kam remained China then moved to Hong Kong until 1972, with her two sons. Meanwhile, Chang Wai Man pioneered to Venezuela to establish new beginnings and reunited with them in 1972. Shortly after, a third child was born in Venezuela in 1974.
Since then, to continue the studies, the second child has immigrated to Canada with the family and relatives support.
Cheng Chin Kam and her husband pursued their entrepreneurial goals by successfully operating a family business in Venezuela until they both retired and immigrated to Vancouver with the youngest son in 1996. There were truly the loves of each other’s lives.
Her generosity, trust and thoughtfulness for others are just a few of her beautiful traits. Unsurprisingly, her infections and loving personality led her to be warmly surrounded by family and friends. She was a great storyteller, conversationalist and exemplified a lively sense of attention and love for others.
Cheng Chin Kam passed from this life the morning of February 18, 2018, at Vancouver General Hospital after a gradual decline in health the last two years and a severe heart failure. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life.
