

Colan was born on August 8th, 1954, in Suva, Fiji, to parents Kattie and Lim Fu Yee. He was the fourth eldest of 7 children. Throughout his entire life, Colan has always been a quiet, hard working, generous, and devoted family man. Not only was he endlessly working to support his family, he also never failed to show up for his sons and daughters. His wife and children were his reason to keep fighting despite his various health battles. He will forever be known for being a supportive husband and father, wonderful son and brother, and a loving Papa and uncle.
Colan will be reunited with the love of his life, Fawzia “Baba”, father, Lim, eldest brother, Monte, younger sister, Doreen, and youngest brother, Allan, in heaven. He will be leaving behind his 9 children: Laura, Meta, Michelle, Mellisa, Magdalene, Jasmine, Angelina, Ashton, and David. Son-in-laws: Liv, Louie, and Josh. Grandsons: Ethan, Dylan, and Malakai. Mother: Kattie. Sisters: Margaret, Jeannie, and Doris. Brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A Visitaion will be held at Hamilton Harron Funeral Home, 5390 Fraser Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, on March 30, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Corpus Christi Parish, 6350 Nanaimo Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, on March 31, 2026, at 11:00 am.
A Committal Service will follow at Victory Memorial Park, 14831 28 Avenue, Surrey, British Columbia, on March 31, 2026, at 1:30 pm.
