Dean always enjoyed spending time with his family at Whistler, golfing at the Marine Drive Golf Club, and birthday lunches at the Terminal City Club. His working life was the steel business. To say he loved it was an understatement. He worked in the business since 1954. Up until the day before he passed, he was still making deals and doing business. He helped shape companies like Quadra Steel and Pitt Steel in the early years, then satisfied his own entrepreneurial spirit by creating companies such as Q & T Plate Steel and Annacis Enterprises, both extremely successful. In lieu of flowers, donations to either the B.C. Cancer Foundation or the Juvenile Diabetes Research foundation would be appreciated.
