Miss your smiling face Deborah.  Still finding it hard to understand, why you had to leave us.

I'm saddened to hear of Deb's passing. She was a big part of my work family at St Paul's Hospital in the CSICU for many years and I remember her with fondness. Her sense of humour and compassionate care were second to none. My sincere condolences to her family and Linda. A bright light gone too soon. 

Dear Deborah,
How can it be that you have left us?  It seems too early for you to go.  You were so full of life and love.   You were smart and pretty and kind and funny and generous.   You looked for the good in people. 
Deborah, I worked with you in Post Open Heart Surgery and I was always amazed how calm and professional and knowledgeable and hard - working you were.   A true nurse to the core.  
I was going to have you and Linda over, it had been years but somehow it didn't happen.  Why that is I am not sure - lack of time, busy, 'next time?'   Now there is no next time.  Guess you are reminding me in that gentle way to do the things that matter.   Keep in touch.  See your friends.  Don't put it off.
Will you hear this message of mine?  If so, please take care of yourself over there.   Know that you are missed on this side.  I know too that you will be watching out for Linda, another amazing person.  You were such close friends.

Your life ended far too soon. I have such sweet and vivid memories of you growing up with Susan. You and your Mother were such an important part of our lives. I frequently find myself thinking back to those wonderful years. My heart goes out to your Mother now as never before. 
Much love to you my dear.  I am glad your suffering is over.

I still can’t believe you’re gone, Deb. From the age of six on you’ve been in my life and my thoughts. What will stand out in my memory are the many, many times we laughed till we cried. You were a steadfast friend, always there for me,  good times and bad. You were the sister I never had and I’ll always love you.

I have so many memories of all of us growing up together .. although we are a small Family we are a close Family.  When I was little I was joined at your hip every  time we would get together, you were a teen and I just a little girl but I so admired you then and that never changed.  You were beautiful inside and out and loved hearing your laugh as everyone else did.  I will treasure all the memories of the past and the ones present, and will miss you to the Moon and Back.

We were old high school friends from Montreal that grew up together. We were quite the crew,  Susan, Judy, Bridgette , Robert, Thomas H, Joe and Chas. We were at the Rockhill apartments where you lived listening to the new Janis Joplin album Pearl when it was released  now that I remember. It was at your party that I had my 1st dance with Susan. I see you in my minds eye laughing golden hair girl ever so beautiful and so very kind. Rest easy dearest friend I am the better for knowing you.
