Chuong (Henry) Le, following a truly ferocious fight with cancer, that he fought with determination to the bitter end, transitioned on February 22, 2025.
Henry will be infinitely missed by his wife of 22 years, Michelle Prefontaine, son Jason Le, mother Nhieu Thi Doan, brother John (Becky), sister Cathy (Tony Huynh), nephews Jonathan, Justin, Jayden, and Oliver, and niece Veronica.
Born in Saigon, Vietnam, Henry immigrated to Vancouver, BC, Canada in 1990. For many years he worked in sushi restaurants, including Samurai Sushi, which is where Michelle met Henry in 2002. In 2011, Henry decided to change careers and became a mechanic, first working at Canadian Tire, and then for the past ten years at MWL Demolition.
Henry was profoundly devoted to his family and to his many friends that he treated like family. Henry could be stern and had a strong work ethic, but was also known for his big heart and great sense of humour. He loved eating out and socializing, whether it be Friday night dates with Michelle, or big dinners with family and friends. He greatly enjoyed building and renovating, and was well known for the constant improvements he made to his family home. Devoted to his dogs, he will be missed by Cody and Bruno, but is reunited with Bun Bun and Rocky.
