I met Donald in High School and we became very good friends. I lost touch with him after college but knew of his wanderings because I married a girl from the shipyard who grew up with Donald and that would be Helen MacEachern. I always was enthralled at Donald's wit and his ability to make you feel part of the group even though I was from Ashby. He was a classy teenager but losing touch soon found out that the NDP grasped him in their claws no disrespect. From the pictures I have seen it would appear life was good with a beautiful wife children and grand kids wow. We have always said we should have had our grand kids first. Thanks for the friendship Donald.

Dear Joan, Joseph, Agnes & Donnie and families and Donald’s family,
We are so sorry for the passing of Donald. Seeing the pictures here of Donald brings back fond memories of our many visits to your family home on Argyle Street in Sydney when we were all young. I can clearly see Donald’s smiling face from yesteryears. Who would think that we both would have siblings taken by lewy body disease. Surely there is a place at the Heavenly banquet for Donald. Rest In Peace Donald. We are holding you all in our hearts, our thoughts and our prayers. Love & hugs, Viola & Ivan and the Gough family. 💕🙏🏼
