Although I hadn't seen Ed since high school, I'll always remember his great smile, his friendliness, and his fun loving spirit.  He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.  My condolences.

I remember Ed's wicked sense of humor. He could make me laugh when I was feeling down. I'll never forget Christmas 2010 when he made the whole table laugh and watching The Eagles "Sober Tour" after dinner. He was a cool guy that made everyone feel comfortable. I light a candle and say a prayer for you Ed. I wish I could have gotten to know you more. R.I.P.

Big Ed was always a treat to share the stage with in high school band. Funny and happy-go-lucky. My condolences and prayers to your loved ones, RIP Ed.

The news of my brother-in-laws passing has saddened all of his family in Montreal.  We loved Ed and will miss him and think of him often and fondly. The last time I saw Ed, my husband, Jon and I partied at the Yale and heard a great blues band with Bonnie and Ed. They were like teens in love; dancing and smooching. This is what I will remember. Rest in peace Ed.

I remember my high school days were brighter because Ed was around.  He was always smiling; he got along with everyone. Good memories. I am saddened by your loss.

 I am sorry to hear about the passing of Ed. I partnered up with him for a socials studies project at Kitsilano secondary. I have not  seen him since those days at school, my condolences to the Buchanan family.
