Eleni Goundouvas

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Eleni Goundouvas. She was surrounded by her family as she passed away on March 16. Eleni was predeceased by her husband Thomas. She is survived by her daughter Aristea (Francisco) and her son Dino (Sarah). She was a passionate yiayia (grandmother) to Eleni, Maisie and Tommy. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her.

Eleni was born in Kalipefki, Greece and came to Canada to marry her beloved husband and raise her family. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and was an artist with her needlepoints and crochet creations. When she was able to, she maintained her beautiful roses outside her window and took great pride in her gardening. Eleni had a strong and determined will and she used it well with her health.
