It’s with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved mother and grandmother. Eleonore Adelheid Kelly passed away peacefully at the age of 99 in Vancouver, British Columbia Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother known for her positive outlook and story-telling. She is survived by her sons, Martin (Susan) Gibbons and Bradley (Debbie) Gibbons and grandchildren, Chris Gibbons, Kyle (Shelley) Gibbons, Kristina Gibbons, Jason (Melanie) Gibbons, Courtney Gibbons, and Alexander (Cheyenne) Gibbons. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will miss her deeply. A Celebration of Life in Eleonore’s honour will be held at VanDusen Botanical Garden 1pm Sunday, March 23.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Vancouver Hospice Society for the loving care our mother and grandmother received. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eleonore’s name to the Vancouver Hospice Society.
