Dad at the age of 97. Dad was born in Vancouver, BC & resided in Richmond, BC
between the years 1954-2014. Dad moved to New Vista Society Care Home in Burnaby
in 2014 where he passed away peacefully on Sun July 19, 2020. Husband, Father,
Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle and Brother. Dad was a Second World War
veteran serving in the navy on the Chignecto J160. Dad was the last of his generation
having been predeceased by his 4 siblings.
Predeceased by our Mother Mary Elizabeth in 1994, Mom & Dad enjoyed many camping
and fishing trips together. They were like 2 peas in a pod always together. Dad was a no
frills type of guy who always enjoyed a good meal & a good cup of coffee.
Dad always took pride in his 4 children, 3 grand children and 2 great grand children.
The family wishes to thank the New Vista care home staff for their loving and thoughtful
care during Dad's stay with them.
