We were honoured to have known Elvis Nelson for his contributions to our communities, and his vibrant personality. Our deepest condolences to your family, friends, and colleagues. 
Elvis Nelson was an amazing contributor to Great Lakes Society/Harambeecouver Diversity Festival always willing to pitch in and assist, providing entertainment and insight at many of our events.

We met the first year when I arrived in Canada. It was wonderful having a singer and songwriter cousin so I practiced being his backup. He was talented and loving; so full of verve and hope for his future. He was never without his guitar or music. 
Being older, he went on to live his life by starting his family. We celebrated both the wedding and birth of his first born. I never met his other children, my cousins, but I mourn your loss even across the span of time and distance. It is wonderful that you had a relationship with your dad and have memories to treasure.
Rest well Elvis and hopefully you see your Uncle and aunts way up in that space in the sky. Kim

I came back after my mom left me to live with my father and now I am in qms I also know Maddie/ madssion. It hurts a lot for a family member you love deeply I am so sorry for your lost I am glad you guys are doing ok. ♡

Elvis was my friend. We shared love of music, spirituality, fitness and bringing people up. He always had great advice for me and I will miss his feisty flirting and the way he could embrace both the light and darkness in the world. ❤️much love to all his friends and family.

Dear Phyena and Sax,
 it is Aunty Wendy I want to say that I understand how much you miss your Dad and it is ok to miss him but please remember that he is always watching over you and you are both his pride and joy and nothing would make him happier than to see each of you happy again and to live your dreams knowing that you had the coolest Dad ever!

So sorry for your loss. Elvis will be greatly missed by his children, loved ones, his friends and in the music industry.  May he rest in peace!
