We are saddened to hear of Felix’s passing.  I’ll remember how  he was always full of jokes and laughter. A fond memory I have was on the day I was married. Our friends children were my flower girl and ring bearer. He was so helpful with keeping them happy and entertained and the day was perfect. Our sincere condolences to his son Austin, his family and friends.

I met Felix in 2015 and we became friends 
Felix showed his kind and generous spirit by picking me up in White Rock (BC) and driving to my equine assisted learning near Abbotsford.  He would wait while I was in my session then drive me back. I really appreciated his kindness and generosity. We had a good conversation during the journey and I really appreciated getting out to the country to spend time with the horses. That is a very happy memory that I will cherish always.

I knew Felix from high school and lost touch with him shortly thereafter. We connected in the last few years, but briefly. Felix was a big part of our circle  in high school. Engaging , lively, up for adventure, filled with music. What stands out to me about Felix is that he was different. He dressed sharply, he spoke bravely, he didn’t fit into the mold. A little part of my youth is lost and it saddens me. I wish it could have been different. My condolences to the Markey family...May fond and happy memories of Felix one day fill the void in your hearts that he has left.

My fondest memories of Felix was when our family visited Canada. My boys stayed with Felix and he couldn't have been more generous. My late hubby his uncle Gerry used to say to him "Felix I cannot take 100% of your stories. Just give me 60% So after that he was Mr. 60%. It is with great sadness that I am writing this knowing I will never see him again. My love and thoughts are with his dad Peter and Bennine. Rest in peace Felix.

Today, I found out about the loss of Felix Markey. 
My heart goes out to his family and loved ones.

Felix in his prime was larger than life. 
I don't think there is a person alive he couldn't win over.
I was honored to be his friend. 

I knew him since High School, we had tons of fun and got into tons of trouble (the best kind of course).
I will always remember the best of Felix. 

His smile, his confidence. That man could talk to anyone.
Although, there are so many stories I could talk about its his music that is coming to mind right now.

I always loved it when he would compose something, he may have exaggerated a thing or two but man I always though he sounded amazing.

I remember him being able to talk me into doing anything. Making me sell vacuum cleaners when I hated doing it. He said I could do it and he was right.
I didn't stick with sales but watching him sell things was always impressive.

In his later years we didn't see or hear much from each other but our friendship was always there, when we did.

I'll miss you Buddy.

I have fond memories of Felix coming to Ireland. He was always smiling and full of fun and his uncle Eugene taking him to Newry and Mourne council with his videocamera.  He kept myself, the girls and his grandmother entertained and laughing. Rest in peace Felix.

I have lovely memories of our big cousin Felix coming from Canada to visit us in Ireland. I remember he was always so much fun and him collecting me from school and carrying me home on his shoulders. He along with his girlfriend at that time Christine babysat myself, Colleen and our cousin Matthew and introduced us to a food fight which as youngsters we thought was brilliant although our parents weren't too happy.  I remember him laughing and joking all of the time with us and loved when he sent photos and updates to nana Daisy. Rest in peace Felix. Thinking of all of our family in Canada at this time.
